Flipping Loudon from

red to blue

MIKE TURNER
ELECTION: ASHBURN BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

SCROLL

The Candidate

Mike is a 1973 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and a former command pilot with more than 3,500 flying hours. He is a Desert Storm veteran and a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal, and the Air Medal. Even after leaving the military, Mike continues to contribute to his community and ran for a seat on Loudon County’s Board of Supervisors.

The Need

While Mike Turner was already well recognized in his community for his activism as a nonprofit development officer, he wanted to supercharge his messaging to reach the thousands of constituents who hadn’t heard of him.

The Outcome

Executing on Mike’s brief meant stretching a budget of just $1,800 to target 70,000 voters in his district 3-4 times each during the GOTV weeks of the campaign. Leveraging the power of video to generate outsized engagement, our custom social assets generated over 250,000 impressions and 42,000 engagements from his constituents. Thanks in part to our final push, Mike Turner beat his competitor with over 60% of the vote, flipping the seat from red to blue.
